Trojan threatens Android gadget users after the discovery of a threat known as "Android.Counterclank". Threat is a variant of the Trojan horse previously known as Android.Tonclank.
Android.Counterclank rumored to have been embedded into a variety of applications in the Android Market. Once downloaded, this malware will launch a range of services that will send information from the device, such as MAC address, license serial number, IMEI, IMSI and a dangerous return to the host.
According to estimates quoted by Symantec, mentioned that Android.Counterlank was installed between 1-5 million devices.
The developer of the famous anti-virus has also identified several malicious applications that have been issued by three issuers. They are :
